هاي تيفي — Hi TV Movies ("the app") helps you discover Turkish series, K-dramas and Asian films and series, watch their trailers and keep track of the episodes you watch. It has no account and never asks for your name, email or contacts.
At a glance
Your lists, ratings, followed series and reminders stay on your iPhone or iPad. We run no server that gathers your data. The app shows ads from Google AdMob unless you have Hi TV Plus, and it only tracks you for ads if you allow it.
What stays on your device
My list, seen marks with their dates, your hearts ratings, boards, followed series and the episodes you ticked, the trailer queue, release and episode reminders, recent searches, past mood matches (Hi TV Plus), and your settings: region, app language and favourite moods. They are saved in the app's private storage on your iPhone or iPad, are never sent to us, and disappear when you reset your library in the app or delete the app.
Films, series and images (TMDB)
Titles, descriptions, cast, air dates, images and where-to-watch offers are requested from The Movie Database (TMDB, https://www.themoviedb.org) through its API. Your device connects to TMDB directly for this and sends only what the answer needs: the title or the words you searched, the app language and your region. TMDB receives your IP address like any website does; their privacy policy applies to that connection. Where-to-watch data is provided to TMDB by JustWatch. The app doesn't send TMDB anything about you.
Trailers (YouTube)
Trailers play in YouTube's embedded player, provided by YouTube API Services. When you play one, YouTube and Google receive information about the playback under their own terms: the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The app never downloads or stores videos.
App settings
When it opens, the app downloads a small settings file from our server (how often ads appear, which ad units to use and how the subscription is set up). It sends nothing about you beyond the technical data of any web request, and we keep no record of who fetched it.
Ads and tracking
Unless you have Hi TV Plus, the app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier, coarse location, diagnostics and how you interact with ads, to show ads and measure them — see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. In regions where consent is required (for example the EEA and the UK), the app asks for it first, and you can change your choice any time under More › Ad privacy choices. On iOS the app asks for permission to track (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, Google shows ads without your advertising identifier.
Purchases
Hi TV Plus is sold through the App Store. RevenueCat processes the purchase receipt with an anonymous app user ID, so the app knows whether Hi TV Plus is active and can restore it on a new device. We never see your payment details.
Reminders
If you tap "Remind me" on an upcoming film or a followed series, the app asks for permission to send notifications and schedules the reminder locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. You can turn reminders off in More › Release reminders or in iOS Settings.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. Adult titles are filtered out of every TMDB request.
Your choices
Remove single items in the Library, or reset all data in More › Reset all data; change ad privacy choices in the app; turn off tracking in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; or delete the app to remove everything it stored.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and in the app with a new date.
